Next-Generation Security For Your Public and Private Clouds

PAN-OS 6.1 extends our enterprise security platform by bringing next-generation security right to the public cloud. This means your organization can fully embrace the agility and flexibility promised of public cloud deployment architecture without compromising security.

New capabilities include:

  • VM-Series support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and KVM, a popular open source hypervisor.
  • Enhancements to WildFire, including bringing the same level of protection to the WF-500 private cloud appliance, for organizations that prefer not to use public cloud services due to regulatory or privacy concerns.
  • 30 additional new features across the entire enterprise security platform and security services.

Also announced today is the new PA-3060 – our newest addition to the PA-3000 Series designed for mid-range datacenter environments where 10GigE interfaces, dual power supplies, and front-to-back airflow are critical for next-generation datacenters.
